Welcome to Pilton Parish Church.
Pilton village nestles on the edge of the Mendip hills overlooking the Vale of Avalon and Glastonbury Tor. The parish includes the hamlets of West Compton and East Compton and the scattered homes and farms of Cockmill, Steanbow, Beardley Batch and Lower Westholme.
It is also host to the world famous Glastonbury Festival. The parish church of St John the Baptist is a beautiful medieval building open for all. It is the home of a welcoming regular congregation and widely used by villagers and others for special services, celebrations, concerts and exhibitions, as well as weddings, baptisms and funerals.

Children are welcome at any of our services in particular our Family Services.
YOUTH ON SUNDAY
YOS is a group of young people from all four parishes that meets on the first Sunday of each month at 6.00pm in Dinder Village Hall. New members are welcome.
Pilton Churches Working Together plan joint monthly services which are held alternately in the Parish Church and the Methodist Church

Car Parking is available at Pilton Village Hall where there are 2 Disabled Parking Spaces with adequate room for wheelchairs. A 'drop off point' is located by the main church gates at the bottom of Shop Lane, across from the Village Hall Car Park. For Special Events overflow parking is available together with a Shuttle Bus Service to ferry between the Church and the Parking area.
